4 Jan 2007. Canker has reared its ugly head resulting in the removal of some trees. The Tom Putt (apple) died aged nearly 3 of canker. The Jargonelle (pear) died aged 2 cause unknown. Replacements are planned from Bernwode Plants at Ludgershall. Photos below show some examples of canker.
